Over the past several years Youth Initiative High School has welcomed students from all over the world, including Thailand, Mexico, Germany, Italy, France, Switzerland, Pakistan, Morocco, Japan, Korea, China, Russia, Ethiopia, Colombia, Canada, and the United States . Our school helps place students with caring and engaged host families in our community and offers unique support through our Care Group system.
As a diverse community of farmers, musicians, writers, outdoor explorers, artists, teachers, students, and more, we welcome and invite all new faces and voices.

Located in rural Viroqua, Wisconsin (pop. ~4500) and surrounded by the rolling hills and valleys of the Driftless Region, Youth Initiative offers a curriculum that reflects the unique opportunities of this place. We currently have boarding students and are accepting applications for the current year.
