Aurora Brinsfield
Aurora Brinsfield attended Pleasant Ridge Waldorf School from grade 4 through 8, spent 1 semester at Viroqua High School and Loretto Academy in El Paso, Texas respectively, and grade 10 at Westby High School, before “coming home” to join the YIHS for grades 11 and 12. Aurora participated in the service trip to Guatemala, and took on leadership roles at the YIHS in fundraising (she directed the Greek feast dinner and theatre performance of “Lysistrata”) and as a student representative to the YIHS personnel committee where she experienced and took an active role in faculty evaluation, and interviews and hiring of new faculty. Aurora plans to attend Madison Area Technical College and travel the world.
