This class will continue to develop the students cooking skills with recipe preparation. The students will also read chapters from “Please Doctor, Do Something” by Dr. Joe Nichols which explains the principles behind natural and organic foods. Several field trips are in the planning stage, one to Village Market to visit the butcher and compare meat prices and types. As always, the class focuses on helping students learn to cook from basic foods and understand what is a healthy diet.
