The 9th grade Foods and Nutrition will begin Monday, Sept. 25th in the newly remodeled kitchen/science room. This class will prepare recipes, learn about nutrients in foods such as carbohydrates, proteins and fats and will have a unit on food preservation. We will also be preparing food for the Civil War Reenactment on Oct. 14th. We need to make things that would be common for that period. Needs for this class – Apples, Squeezo Strainer or Victoria Strainer, Grapes for jelly, cabbage. There is a $10 class fee for this class.
