Committees:
The Organizational Structure of Youth Initiative High School
The Youth Initiative High School corporation consists of three distinct yet interwoven sub-communities: the faculty, the parents, and, of course, the students. The structure of YIHS is not hierarchical but cooperative and each of these bodies shares equally in the rights and responsibilities of the corporation. Youth Initiative High School strives to have representatives from each of these groups on all of its committees and to work in cooperation and consensus in everything we do.

The Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees is responsible for the legal and economic life of the school and works to hold a long-term vision of success for the corporation.
The Administrative Group
The administrative group is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day affairs of the school. The group deals with facility issues such as cleaning and maintenance, academic issues like making sure students are in good academic standing, and other logistics like scheduling and intramural communications.
